Biography I started cuemaking in 1993 in Muncie, Indiana, while majoring in criminal justice in college. It started as only a repair business at age 19 at Indiana tournaments. I loved playing in pool tournaments since high school and enjoyed working with my hands. I also worked at a pool hall while in college. When friends saw that I was working on my own cues, people opted to bring me theirs to work on as well. Jobs became more complex, and finally it evolved into a part-time cuemaking. I am completely self-taught, though many cuemakers gave helpful hints and suggestions. I strive to make the best cue that I can never sacrificing craftsmanship and quaility of materail. I also try to improve upon every cue I make. My shop is located in a three car garage, attached to my house. It is very convenient for me to work anytime. I has several lathes for both metal and wood, band saws, table saw, drill press, mill, spray room , and a Pantograph. I make my own short-spliced blanks, and I prefer cues with six or eight points. I do make four-point cues with more traditional designs, usually with stainless 5/16-14 piloted joints. I prefer cues that are forward balanced. I do all of the work in my one-man shop except when my wife, Kelley, signs all of my cues, because I don't like my handwriting. My goal is to make a good hitting cue at a good price. I am also also known for my repair work, though I am ussually very busy with cue building. broken cues. When I am not building cue I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My cues are guaranteed for life against all manufacturer's defects and warpage.
